Hi

I have been watching the Computer Chronicles for quite a while now and have enjoyed them immensely. I wish to dedicate a section of my personal website to the Chronicles and was wondering if it would be possible to use screenshots taken from the downloaded media on the site?

I'm not sure about the rules and any advice you can offer will be appreciated!

Thank you :)

Hi!

Thank you for replying and giving myself permission to use screenshots from the Chronicles. I’ve completed a few pages dedicated to the Computer Chronicles but I’m afraid it’s not much at the moment and I won’t be able to update it until later on in the year.

The URL: http://www.stquantum.com

Suggestions/comments etc are welcome!

Thanks again :)

Just posting this here in an attempt to reach Mr. Cheifet...

Hello Stewart:

My name is Zach Weddington. I run a small video production company in the Philadelphia area, and am an independent filmmaker. For the past 3 years, I have been hard at work on a documentary about the Amiga computer. Check it out:

www.amigafilm.com

I've got clips of the Computer Chronicles here in my footage library that sure would be great to use in the film. I've made a documentary before and have 15 years experience in the broadcast world, but when it comes to copyright issues, I am a total novice. Oh, by the way, I used to work for WITF, too, how coincidental. Anyway, I'd like to find out how I might gain permission to use clips from The Computer Chronicles in my film, and I was hoping you could help me out. I would be happy to work with you in any way I can in return for this huge favor.

The film already has a nice following online, and we were able to produce the film with a pretty good production value, due to the fact that I am in the business.

Can you help at all? If you have any interest in being featured in the film, that is also possible. We'd love to have you in.
